Why Do I Love Indie Games?

I believe that indie games are the future of the video game industry and I love to see the amount of passion, joy and creativity that is put into independent video games.

I’ve always loved video games, but over the past few years I’ve found myself playing more indie video games than I do large AAA titles.

A lot of once beloved AAA games and franchises have become stale and corrupted by greed. Infested with micro-transaction and plagued with recycled content.

I truly believe sharing and preaching about indie games is the best way to combat this. By shifting the focus onto independent games made purely from love and helping to bring back an era of gaming that players deserve.

About Me

I’m just your average gamer that loves to explore indie video games. I run Indie Game Preacher as a hobbyist and I’m currently the only indie game preachers, but hopefully that will change in the future as the community grows and I’m able to expand the mission to preach about indie games.

Some of my personal favorite indie games are Balatro (yes I’m genuinely addicted), Dusk, Parking Garage Rally Circuit, Hollow Knight, Celeste, Fly Knight, Undertale, Schedule I, Lethal Company, HROT, Stay Out Of The House, Rusty Lake: Roots, Ambidextro, ULTRAKILL, Nodebuster, Iron Lung, Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom, Devil Daggers, Blasphemous, Abiotic Factor, Last Train Outta’ Worm Town, Hotline Miami, Vampire Survivors, I Am Your Beast and Disco Elysium.
